Unusual Death in Usually Quiet Neighborhood

BEXAR COUNTY- Henry King, husband of Lora King, was found dead early Thursday morning. He was discovered by his wife just before sunrise. Mr. King was lying on the floor in his study. He was not breathing and apparently had been bleeding heavily from his ears. There has been much speculation as to the cause of death. One theory is that Mr. King actually suffered from Autoimmune Inner Ear Disease (or AIED), although there has been no confirmation. The last days leading up to his death were numbered by many visits to a Dr. Samuel Kane who is tenured at the Texas Center for Infectious Disease here in San Antonio. Mrs. King immediately called 911, and the quiet neighborhood they reside in has not been the same since. Shortly after the ambulance arrived so did three unmarked white vans. An area including the houses directly on either side of the King residence was cordoned off. Five people in full hazmat suits entered the residence shortly after arrival. Mrs. King, as well as the body of Mr. King, were loaded into the vans and taken away.

The police have not released any statements at this time.
